Young Learners - Online

In this course, we will explore the specificities of teaching young learners. We will understand and discuss different aspects of how children learn and how these characteristics influence the way we teach young learners. We will also see practical suggestions on activities and ideas for using songs, stories and games in our lessons.

Tutor? Renata Borges has graduated in Languages from the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, with a post-graduate degree in English language literatures from the same university.She has been working in ELT for 17 years, having worked as a teacher and a pedagogical coordinator. For the last 9 years she has been working with teacher training and writing materials. She has worked on the development of online courses and books for adults and young learners in a bilingual context. She currently works for Troika, where she works with writing materials and teacher training.
