Sobre o evento

Education, as part of the training process, is committed to a project for society and the future and, in view of this, we consider it essential to provoke a reflective space for the resumption of the ethical-political principles that guide our professional practice.

In addition, we recognize that today's society makes schools and education spaces in general converge on a series of issues faced by students, especially children, adolescents and young people, which reflect the conflicts, polarizations and transformations of values typical of our time. The management of this situation requires a broad awareness of what is at stake and, for that, the experience in a reflective field that enables the rescue of the ethical direction that should guide our intervention is fundamental.

Therefore, this activity constitutes an important space for the qualification of professionals in education by offering a meeting capable of welcoming issues experienced by professionals in their day-to-day, provoking reflection on them from some relative assumptions. the field of ethics and professional ethics.

It is especially aimed at education professionals who experience conflicts and dilemmas in relation to their professional work and feel the need to rediscover the meaning of their work.

Some points developed in this training activity:

- Ethics and morals through the eyes of philosophy. Does ethics correspond to morals? What is the relationship between ethics and morals?

- Ethics as a professional practice qualification resource

- Education for what? Which ethical-political project guides my work as an education professional?

- How can ethics contribute to facing dilemmas and conflicts in the educational field?
