From the foundations of Psychology and Neurosciences, this course aims to:
Explain the role of language in the constitution of consciousness,
Present scientific evidence on the impact of narratives on the establishment of emotional regulation,
Demonstrate the necessary relationship between educational activities, language organization and emotional regulation,
Emphasize the written word as a determining tool for the elaboration of this emotional regulation.
This is an encounter course that smells like heaven when it rains. Here we embrace the words. We follow his trail to find out about his origins. We explain the role of language as a matter of making people. We discuss the role of stories in the brain and in the construction of everyday life. It is a course about narratives, about storytelling, about your own life, about the essence of what makes us human.

Ana Paula Moreira has a PhD in Psychology from PUC Campinas. Professor in the Pedagogy course at the University of Mogi das Cruzes. He works with Historical-Cultural Psychology and has experience with teacher training, promotion of development within the scope of educational and pedagogical practices.
Guilherme Brockington is a physicist, PhD in Education from USP, where he began his research in the neuroscience of emotions, staying for two years at the Brain and Creativity Institute , directed by António Damásio. Post-doctorate in Neurosciences and Education also at USP, he is currently a professor at the Federal University of ABC and conducts different research on the interface between neurosciences and learning.
