Supported by current legislation (federal law no.11.645/08, National Curricular Parameters, BNCC and federal law no.14.164/21), the presentation will include an approach to some concepts such as race, racism, whiteness and gender, and how these themes will be present in the experience of teaching English, in addition to showing some pedagogical possibilities already experienced by teachers of English in their schools.
