Sobre o evento
English to Trans-form (ETT) is a project founded in 2015 by Paolo Capistrano and Marcela Polo. Its purpose is to make second language acquisition more accessible for transgender and transvestite people. Volunteers are trained by the project's coordination and the material used seeks to address diversity, inclusion, gender identity and a range of social conflicts. In the last six years, the project has taught more than 1400 students under the LGBTQIAP+ flag in situations of vulnerability, as well as black people. Classes are held at Casa 1, an NGO that houses and supports the LGBTQIAP+ community in São Paulo. Since its foundation, ETT has had ramifications in Spanish, Portuguese for foreigners and Libras classes.
Among the services that Casa 1 offers are housing, food, assistance in the areas of education and employability, social assistance and clinical and mental health support. Want to collaborate with Casa 1? See how here: https://www.casaum.org/como-ajudar/doacao/ "
