BNCC and the New High School - Online

In this course, we will highlight the BNCC issues related to the new High School, mainly the specific language competences and their abilities. The absence of specific frameworks for teaching English can pose a challenge for class preparation. Through activities that promote this teaching perspective, aligned with social practice and the concept of English as a lingua franca (ELF), we will understand what points we should keep in mind when preparing our classes, always with an emphasis on the area of Languages and their Technologies. After reviewing this material, we will write new activities to consolidate the discussion and equip participants with practical, context-oriented materials.

At the end of this course, participants will receive references for further reading, activities designed in advance, activities done in groups during the course.
