Developing oral fluency

In this course, we are going to discuss the importance that particular items have in the development of fluency. We are going to come up with strategies to help students improve their communicative competence, especially their linguistic and strategic competence. We are also going to design some fluency activities that allow students to put what they have learned into practice in a fun, meaningful way.

Tutor? Gabriel Lemos is a teacher, teacher trainer, educational consultant, materials writer and speaking examiner. He currently works as an academic consultant at Troika and as the vice-president of the BRAZ-TESOL Rio Chapter. He holds a teaching degree in Languages and other certifications and diplomas, such as the Cambridge CELTA, Delta and Train The Trainer, as well as other language teaching and training certifications from the University of Oregon.
